Nicole and Joel were seen yesterday afternoon out in Brentwood for some Starbucks. Nicole looks great, you can’t tell she just had a baby two weeks ago.

Nicole and Joel (along with Joel’s brother Benji) were seen arriving at Benny Medina’s 50th Birthday Party last night. Nicole looks great, she already has a flat stomach! No baby in sight, of course, she is still very young. I bet it was hard for them to leave her for the night. A couple more pictures below.

She’s already growing to fast! So I am at home writing this blog before i head to the DCMA store, and then the DEAD EXEC studio to work. I swear it’s so hard to leave during the day, but always so rewarding to come home to the little family. I’ve always been a guy who loves to love.Probably one of the things that define me outside of my work is LOVE. I had no idea what love even was until Harlow came along.

Me and her mother feel like the luckiest two people alive right now. This time in our life has been amazing. We both look at our little girl every single moment everyday and know there is nothing we wouldn’t do to protect her and her perfect little innocence. It seems like you turn on the tv, or get online and its all bad news.

We dont want her to know any of that yet. I actually never want her to know any of the pain and suffering we see out in the world everyday, or how harsh people can be as a result of it. Having this baby has really made me realize we all start out that way, then somewhere along the way something happens and people go one way or the other. But all started out sweet and innocent just like my little daughter. The world could really make you bitter if you let it, but thats where music, and art come in to save the day.

Paris Hilton is ready to be Aunt Paris to Nicole Richie’s newborn, Harlow Winter Kate Madden.

“I’m so excited!” Hilton told Usmagazine.com at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah. “I’ve sent her all these presents. I’m going to spoil her!”

Though Hilton, 27, hasn’t met Harlow – born Jan. 12 to Richie and Joel Madden – she is already a fan of her name.

“It’s the coolest name ever,” she told Us. “I’m like, ‘That is the coolest name, oh my God!’ I wouldn’t even think she would have thought of that. It’s a beautiful name.”

Nicole used a mirror to watch the birth of her daughter Harlow, it has been revealed.

Nicole, who delivered Harlow Winter Kate Madden naturally two weeks ago, was keen to get a clear view of the moment her little girl entered the world at Los Angeles Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

A source told Star magazine: “A nurse handed Nicole a mirror so she could see the birth. At first she was too afraid, but she watched during the final few pushes.”

However, there were worrying moments for Nicole and fiancé Joel Madden when Harlow turned a scary shade of blue.

Nicole Richie and her baby daddy Joel Madden are apparently having trouble agreeing on who to choose as their daughter Harlow’s godmother.

Nicole wants her good friend Paris Hilton to be the godmother of her newborn baby, but Joel thinks his future sister in-law, Sophie Monk, would be the better choice.

“Joel doesn’t think Paris is up to the task … He’s lobbying for Sophie,” a source told America’s Globe.

Sophie is engaged to Joel’s twin brother and Good Charlotte band mate Benji Madden.

No words from Richie and Joel’s camp concerning who will serve as their daughter Harlow Winter Kate Madden’s godmother.

Lionel Richie is a proud new grandfather – though he’s still getting used to his new status, the singer said in a statement Tuesday.

“While it may take me a moment to adjust to being called grand dad, I am extremely happy and proud of Nicole and Joel,” Richie says, referring to the birth of his granddaughter.

“Harlow Winter Kate Madden, the newest and most beautiful addition to the Richie clan, is a lucky little girl,” he added. “She was surrounded by a great deal of love at that hospital as she entered the world. Nicole and Joel are going to be wonderful parents.”

Well I am finally home with my beautiful girlfriend and our brand new little daughter. Harlow Winter Kate Madden was born on January 11th 2008 at 3:13pm. She weighed in at 6 pounds and 7 ounces. She is 19 inches long and growing everyday already! She really is a wonderful addition to the GC/DCMA/DEADEXEC family.We are so blessed to have this beautiful little baby in our lives.I want to thank everyone for all the love and kind words they’ve sent our way. We apologize we werent accepting and gifts/cards/calls at the hospital, but if you’d like to send something, we’d rather you make a donation to the richie-madden foundation, which we started in Harlow Winter’s honor. She looks so much like her mom its crazy! She eats like a little maniac and shes really sweet. She barely ever cries ,even when daddy is changing her diaper, and believe me i suck when it comes to diapers, but im learning!
