Nicole Richie and Joel Madden greeted the arrival of their daughter with joy and thanks.
“We are very blessed she’s healthy and beautiful and so good already,” Madden told People magazine on Saturday. “We are very happy.”

Harlow Winter Kate Madden — that is the name of Nicole Richie and Joel Madden’s little baby girl, who was born today (Friday) at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and weighed 6 lbs. 7 oz.
“The beautiful healthy baby girl left the hospital with her ecstatic parents,” says the rep, who confirmed the birth to People magazine exclusively.

According to Us Weekly, X17 and Perez Hilton, Nicole is in labor RIGHT NOW! She apparently arrived at L.A.’s Cedars-Sinai Medical Center late last night (Thursday) through a secret entrance.
Joel is of course there with her — He was spotted walking into the delivery area of the medical center, and overheard saying “She’s going to start pushing soon.” Joel’s bro Benji is also there.
UPDATE: Apparently Christina Aguilera is giving birth right now too, at Cedars-Sinai. They’ll share the same birthday!

Nicole and Christina are going to become mothers on the same day, and a few years ago they also became engaged around the same time. Here they are showing off their gorgeous rings at an event. Nicole Richie is expecting her first child with her Good Charlotte frontman fiancé Joel Madden, and according to Joel’s older brother Josh is about to deliver the tot any day.
Josh said: “The baby is due sometime in the next week. That’s all we know. “We don’t know what gender it is. We don’t know any names. I’m being completely honest, I swear!”
Josh also said Nicole and Joel missed out on a Madden family Christmas because Nicole was banned from flying as she is heavily pregnant.
Nicole and Joel have finally moved in together — just one month ahead of the birth of their first child.
Nicole has sold her Hollywood apartment and set up home with Joel in Brentwood, according to PerezHilton.com.
A source says, “Nicole sold her West Hollywood condo. She and Joel are living full-time at his place now.”
Nicole is apparently seeing a hypnotist because she is terrified of giving birth, according to reports.
Nicole wants advice on handling the pain when she gives birth to her first child with Joel Madden later this month.
US columnist Janet Charlton said: “The therapist is helping Nicole to relax, stay calm and think positive thoughts as the big day approaches.”
