Babytalk’s editor-in-chief Lisa Moran told OK! magazine that Nicole Richie is to receive a Golden Pacifier Award in recognition of her parenting skills.
“She’s grown up a lot since the arrival of little Harlow, and her creation of the Richie-Madden Children’s Foundation has demonstrated her efforts to set a good example by shining a spotlight on important issues affecting today’s families,” she said.
The Richie-Madden Children’s Foundation was set up last year by Richie and her fiancee Joel Madden, and is aimed at providing grants to healthcare, education and human rights non-profit organizations in the US and abroad.
