The New York Post writes:

Now that she’s pregnant, Nicole Richie is getting hitched, too. The tiny “Simple Life” star and her boyfriend, Joel Madden, showed up for the YSL Pool Party to benefit Center Dance Arts at the Beverly Hills Hotel on Thursday night – and she was conspicuously wearing a huge diamond engagement ring. “It was one big rock surrounded by more diamonds,” our source said. Richie refused to talk about the ring. Meanwhile, Madden was “overly attentive to her – keeping his arm around her all night – and repeatedly asked her if she was OK.” The cozy couple ate everything on their plates, lobster salad and lamb, but refused all alcohol, which our snarky spy called “a first for her.”

The awesome Celebrity Babylon has these pictures of Nicole out and about in Los Angeles yesterday. Nicole looks healthy, she actually has a cleavage! Maybe there really is a little bun in the oven? A source close to Nicole says “she is pregnant, and Joel’s the father.” — hmm…I guess only time will tell.

After a long time apart, due to Joel touring the world, Nicole Richie and Joel Madden are now back together and stepped out in Beverly Hills yesterday afternoon to visit the Neil George Salon.

Lindsay Lohan’s former bodyguard is spilling the beans on LL and is dragging Nicole down with her.
Lee Weaver, who claims he quit because Lindsay was too dangerous to work for, revealed to the News of the World newspaper:

“One night Lindsay and Nicole laid a mirror taken from the bedroom and on a coffee table and emptied a mountain of coke onto it. They went at the stuff with straws hoovering it all up. I tried to tell Lindsay to stop. After ten hours, I had to carry her to the car.”

Hmm, think this is true? No word on when this incident supposedly happened.

Nicole has been in New York City the last few days, promoting the new season of The Simple Life (don’t forget to catch the third episode tonight on E!). Here she is pictured talking on her phone, rushing past photographers, and into her hotel.
